Hi everyone! I finally purchased a new (used) boat. I decidedly went with a aluminum deep V fishing / family fun boat. No surprise right! Yep, purchased a 2006 Smokercraft 19 foot Ultima. It came with a 4 stroke Honda 115. I would have preferred a 2 stroke mercury, but when you are buying used you have to go with what you can find! This was not an easy boat to find. Since the recession started in 2007, no one is buying boats! That’s a surprise right!!The first things that go in a recession are those fun/luxury items. I found three of these boats on the East Coast! this was the closest (NH) and least expensive! The 2010 retail amount is $32,000! Yikes! 2009 left over goes for $25,000!
